The Widow’s Coins

Miss Tina and the bots generously helping Professor Fern in her garden. Everyone is working hard to harvest a fresh crop of vegetables to give to the orphanage—that is, until Rig digs up a gold nugget! Rig’s good fortune starts a gold rush stampede of robot prospectors who overrun the garden and turn the site into a western town overnight! Miss Tina tells the Bible story of the poor widow and her two coins that she gave as an offering in the Temple. The story helps Rig choose between buying himself a robo-horse or giving his nugget to the orphanage!

Back at Quantum Labs, Detective Widget has a new mystery to solve about carrots; not just any carrots—caramel-coated ones!

Generosity Squared

Back at Quantum Lab’s kitchen, Miss Tina just took a freshly baked batch of cookies from the oven and they smell so good! Will she enjoy them by herself or give them to a bot to share with someone else? Children learn about generosity: To cheerfully give and share what God gives you.

The lesson’s focus today is how God generously gives to us first so we can be generous too!

Happy Giving

Though it was a tiny amount, Jesus said the widow gave more than anyone, even the wealthy people. At Quantum Labs, Gears just gave generously to a worthy cause but that doesn’t mean he is happy about it!  Children continue to learn about generosity: To cheerfully give and share what God gives you. Today’s lesson focuses on giving with a happy heart.
