Lesson 1

Accepting Differences

Miss Tina and the robots are excited to perform in the Quantum Lab’s annual talent show. However, there may be an unexpected addition to their act. A toy wind-up robot “comes to life” and claims his name is Gizmo! This robot is very different—so different that all the robots can’t possibly be friends… or can they?

Professor Quantum tells Gizmo Jesus’ parable of the Good Samaritan. This helps the robot to understand how important it is to show love to people even if they are different.

Verse to GO! Romans 15:7: Therefore, accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory.

Lesson 2

Wax On

Jesus told a powerful parable about a Samaritan man who showed compassion and mercy to a Jewish traveler who had been robbed and wounded by bandits. Children will learn the importance of showing God’s love to others, regardless of how different they seem.

Verse to GO! Romans 15:7: Therefore, accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory.

Lesson 3

Still the Box

Jesus tells the story of The Good Samaritan who showed mercy to a Jewish man who was very different than himself. The Samaritan’s acts of compassion and kindness stand in stark contrast to a Jewish priest and Levite who chose to ignore the injured man, a fellow Jew! Children will learn that everyone, even those who are different, must be shown love and mercy.

Verse to GO! Romans 15:7: Therefore, accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory.

Lesson 4

Love in Translation

At Quantum Labs, Miss Tina is having a birthday! The robots agree to give her a special gift but can’t decide on the type of gift it should be. Today’s lesson is about showing love and kindness to all people, especially to others who are different than us.

Verse to GO! Romans 15:7: Therefore, accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory.

Lesson 5

A Sign of Friendship

At Quantum Labs, Gears and Widget are on the official welcoming committee and must greet two new robots who will arrive. Gears and Widget discover that the new visitors have a different way of communicating. Gears decides to give up, but Widget finds a way to communicate and make the new bots feel welcome. Today’s lesson is about finding different ways to share God’s love and acceptance with others who may seem different than us.

Verse to GO! Romans 15:7: Therefore, accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory.
